Technical Communications Associate

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated and careful eye for detail/experience with section 508 compliance a plus
  • Editing/developing web pages in HTML and other languages
  • Comfortable handling multiple project/deadlines simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Acrobat 8.0/9.0 and other officeapplications (including MS Office 2007)
  • Self-motivated and able to think on your feet
  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree is a plus

In this position, you will interact with all levels of staff and use your diverse skills on publications, web, meeting planning, and marketing projects. You also will have the opportunity to expand your skills and learn about science and health communications. This role places an emphasis on supporting web projects and HTML updates to existing websites. You may also be asked to assist in researching web-based solutions and testing software and services.

Communications & Design Associate

This role places an emphasis on coordinating design tasks for websites and project deliverables. In this role the associate will also serve a supporting role to the manager and managing director of the web solutions practice; this will include coordinating project tasks, monitoring web usage reports, and assisting with client communications.
